CONTEST: A Need So Beautiful

CONTEST:
Answer the question: If you were given $200,000 what frivolous thing would you do/buy, just because you could?
I’m not looking for answers like paying bills and whatnot.  Have fun with it!
Example: My answer would be…
As a kid, I loved My Little Pony.  So I’d buy a horse, have it dyed pink (non-toxic of course), and have a cupcake stenciled on it!
PRIZE: Signed copy of A NEED SO BEAUTIFUL by Suzanne Young and pin.

We all want to be remembered. Charlotte's destiny is to be Forgotten...

Charlotte’s best friend thinks Charlotte might be psychic. Her boyfriend thinks she’s cheating on him. But Charlotte knows what’s really wrong: She is one of the Forgotten, a kind of angel on earth, who feels the Need—a powerful, uncontrollable draw to help someone, usually a stranger.

But Charlotte never wanted this responsibility. What she wants is to help her best friend, whose life is spiraling out of control. She wants to lie in her boyfriend's arms forever. But as the Need grows stronger, it begins to take a dangerous toll on Charlotte. And who she was, is, and will become--her mark on this earth, her very existence--is in jeopardy of disappearing completely.

Charlotte will be forced to choose: Should she embrace her fate as a Forgotten, a fate that promises to rip her from the lives of those she loves forever? Or is she willing to fight against her destiny--no matter how dark the consequences.

WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 19.

  1. I would make the world's largest edible house, probably out of chocolate cookie or chocolate cake because they are my favorites. Even the furniture would be made out of it. And the milk would be provided. Then I would have my children's birthday parties where all the kids from their school would be invited to eat the house and it would be televised on live tv!

  2. I would buy a house, and make a specific room for my dream library. I'd have to cut my dream house down, to save some of that cash for the library of course! ;)

Thanks for the chance to win!

  4. I would turn my backyard into a fantasy land! There would be a labyrinth with games and adventure at every turn. And treehouses and pirate ships to explore... :)

I just joined your blog, what a great giveaway! Blogger wouldn't let me sign in to comment just yet but I am sarabara081.

  5. HAHA! You guys are so funny and creative! Would love to do all of those things mentioned above, btw. It's a tie between the pirate ships and the edible house! :D

Hmm...I'd first hire a gang of robbers to rob me a bank and then use that money for a ticket to space! :D Ok, I wouldn't actually do that...but one can wish!

  7. I would either move to Nashville or buy tickets to every stop on Taylor Swift's Tour and follow her cross country. Both are major dreams of mine. However if I were in a more charitable mood I would most definitely donate it to CNY libraries because they all need updates and better books =)

  8. Oh my gosh, I've always wanted like a HUGE personal library in my house. Who needs a room to sleep? I would just buy tons of books (and shelves!) and fill the room with that. *Dreamy sigh*

OR I would take a trip around the world. I love travelling and while I have been to a lot of places, there are still tons more I'd like to visit - like Greece or Egypt. Thanks so much! Fingers crossed :)
